Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Mary Beth

Maio, and Deputy Chair Julius Collins offer the following:

WHEREAS, the Ulster County District Attorney is requesting $7,000.00 be

appropriated from the District Attorney’s Fund Balance Forfeiture Account for the

purpose of covering payment for a new car lease, as defined in Article 13A of the

N.Y.C.P.L.R., United States Department of Justice Guidelines for Equitable Sharing,

Title 18 U.S.C. §981, Title 21 U.S.C. §881, and Title 19 U.S.C. §1646; and

WHEREAS, these funds are proceeds from New York State Police and

District Attorney cases only; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the 2018 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as

follows:

 DECREASE AMOUNT

AA.0889.5804 Fund Balance, Restricted $7,000.00

 INCREASE

AA.1165.1031-4710.4712 Law Enforcement & Special $7,000.00
