Referred to: The Public Works and Capital Projects Committee (Chairman Fabiano
and Legislators Greene, Litts, Nolan, and Roberts), The Legislative Programs,
Education and Community Services Committee (Chairman Donaldson and
Legislators Collins, Delaune, Eckert, Haynes, Wawro and Woltman), and The Ways
and Means Committee (Chairman Gerentine and Legislators Archer, Bartels, Lopez,
James Maloney, Joseph Maloney, and Petit)
Chairman of the Legislative Programs, Education and Community Services
Committee, David B. Donaldson, and Deputy Chair Heidi Haynes, offer the
following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on
behalf of the Ulster County Community College (herein “UCCC”); and
WHEREAS, the 2018-2023 Capital Improvement Program included funding
of $4,380,990.00 for Infrastructure Improvements which included $552,200.00 for
Phase 1 renovations to the Burroughs Building located on UCCC’s Stone Ridge
campus; and
WHEREAS, the SUNY Ulster Board of Trustees approved Resolution No. 18-
03-64 establishing a Capital Project in the amount of $552,200.00, to complete such
renovations in the Burroughs Building; and
WHEREAS, funding for such project will be divided as follows: $276,100
SUNY and $276,100 Ulster County; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to fund such project; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that Capital Project No. 524 - SUNY Ulster Burroughs
Renovations is hereby established as follows:
CREATE AMOUNT
Capital Project No. 524 SUNY Ulster –Burroughs Renovation $552,200.00
and, be it further;
RESOLVED, that the 2018 Ulster County Capital Fund Budget is hereby
amended as follows:
INCREASE AMOUNT
HH.2497.0524-2300.2550 Other Equipment & Capital Outlays $360,000.00
Construction
HH.2497.0524-2300.2500 Other Equipment $192,200.00
