Chairman of the Legislative Programs, Education and Community Services

Committee, Mary Wawro, and Deputy Chairman David B. Donaldson offer the

following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Ulster County Community College; and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 94 dated March 18, 2014 established Capital

Project Number 405 for the Renovation and Repair of the Kelder Center at the Ulster

County Community College Campus in Stone Ridge, NY in the amount of $383,258;

and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 94 indicated that the cost of the $383,258

renovation and repair project was to be divided as follows: $191,629 SUNY

Construction Fund; $111,314 College Foundation; $73,417 NYSERDA; $6,601

SUNY Ulster; and

WHEREAS, at the request of the State University of New York (SUNY) an

amendment to this funding split is required, as follows: $191,629 SUNY Funding,

$111,314 College Foundation; $73,714 NYSERDA; $6,601 SUNY Ulster; and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 208 dated March 19, 2015 amended Capital

Project No 405 to increase the project total by $141,256 resulting in a total project

cost of $524,514; and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 208 indicated that the cost of the $524,514

renovation and repair project was to be divided as follows; $262,257 SUNY

Construction Fund; $141,314 College Foundation; $73,714 NYSERDA; $47,229

SUNY Ulster; and

WHEREAS at the request of the State University of New York (SUNY) an

amendment to this funding split is required, as follows; $70,628 SUNY Funding;

$191,629 State’s share of the sale of the President’s residents; $141,314 College

Foundation; $73,714 NYSERDA; $47,229 SUNY Ulster; and 

 

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees approved Resolution #17-4-205 approving

the amendment of the funding split of Capital Project No. 405 as indicated above, for

the renovation and repairs of the Kelder Center at SUNY Ulster’s campus; now,

therefore be it

 RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 94 of 2014 and Capital Project No. 405 –

SUNY Ulster Kelder Center is hereby amended to reflect the following funding

delineations $191,629 SUNY Funding, $111,314 College Foundation; $73,714

NYSERDA; $6,601 SUNY Ulster; and

RESOLVED that Resolution No. 208 of 2015 and Capital Project No. 405 –

SUNY Ulster Kelder Center is hereby amended to reflect the following funding

delineations as follows; $70,628 SUNY Funding; $191,629 State’s share of the sale

of the President’s residents; $141,314 College Foundation; $73,714 NYSERDA;

$47,229 SUNY Ulster,

and moves its adoption.
