Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and

Deputy Chairman Peter M. Loughran offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of Ulster County Community College; and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 335 established Capital Project No. 481 –

Technology Facility Upgrade – SUNY Ulster in the amount of $300,000, with the

following funding delineations, $150,000.00 SUNY funding, and $150,000.00 Ulster

County funding; and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Community College Foundation has indicated

that it will contribute $100,000.00 in funding for this project; and

WHEREAS, at the request of the State University of New York (SUNY) an

amendment to this funding split is required, the original project total of $300,000.00

will not increase but the funding is further delineated as follows: $150,000.00

SUNY; $100,000.00 Ulster County Community College Foundation and $50,000.00

Ulster County; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees approved Resolution #17-4-206 approving

the amendment of the funding split of Capital Project No. as indicated above, for the

purchase and replacement of technology at SUNY Ulster’s campus; now, therefore

be it

RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 335 of 2016 and Capital Project No. 481-

SUNY Ulster Technology Facility Upgrade is hereby amended, to reflect the

following funding delineation $150,000.00 SUNY; $100,000.00 Ulster County

Community College Foundation and $50,000.00 Ulster County,

and move its adoption.
