Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and

Deputy Chairman Peter M. Loughran offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Ulster County Community College; and

 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 48 dated January 26, 2016 (hereinafter the

“Resolution”) established Capital Project Number 465 – for the replacement of

furniture at the Ulster County Community College Campus in Stone Ridge in the

amount of $150,000; and

 WHEREAS, the cost the $150,000 purchase cost was to be divided as follows;

$75,000 State funding and $75,000 County Share; and

WHEREAS, the College received donated goods valued at $129,995, which

will be considered the County’s share for this project; and

WHEREAS, in order to maximize the use of State funds, Capital Project No.

465 – General Furniture Replacement is hereby amended to increase the total project

cost to $259,990, which will be divided as follows; $129,995 in State funding and

$129,995 in County funding which is herein covered through the use of donated

goods; now therefore be it

RESOLVED, that Capital Project Number 465 is hereby amended as follows:
