Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and

Deputy Chairman Peter M. Loughran offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Ulster County Community College; and

WHEREAS, the Leach Field Construction project (the “Project) will replace

an existing leach field at SUNY Ulster’s Stone Ridge Campus; and

WHEREAS, Capital Project No. 467 was established pursuant to Resolution

No. 52 dated February 12, 2016 in the amount of $206,728; and

WHEREAS, the construction of the leach field was estimated to cost

$187,935; and

WHEREAS, upon the review of bids submitted for this project, the estimated

cost of construction including a new pump for the leach field is estimated at

$197,000, an increase of $9,065 resulting in a total project cost of $215,793; and

WHEREAS, such project will be funded as follows $107,897 State funding

and $107,896 County funding; and

WHEREAS, SUNY Ulster’s Board of Trustees approved Resolution #17-4-

213 approving an amendment of the funding of Capital Project No. 467 in the

amount of $9,065 resulting in a total project cost of $215,793; now therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the 2017 Capital Fund Budget is hereby amended as

follows:
