Chairman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Thomas J. Briggs,

and Deputy Chairman Ronald G. Lapp, Jr. offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 272 approved on May 27, 2016 Authorized the

Ulster County Sheriff’s Office to accept the donation of a motor vehicle to be sold at

auction in accordance with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures of the

County of Ulster; and

WHEREAS such car was subsequently sold in the County auction and

received the following in $13,400.00 in unanticipated revenue; and

WHEARAS, the car sold for $13,400.00 and it has been decided to use these

funds to replenish the URGENT Auto Repair line; and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff requests to have the following funds

moved to the Sheriff’s URGENT Auto Repair line from the URGENT Sale of

Property & Compensation for Loss Sale of Equipment Revenue Line; and

WHEREAS, the funds will be used to cover the balance of auto repair

expenses to year end. The 2016 Adopted Budget was for $ 10,000.00 and we have

spent $ 10,866.78 as of the May 2016 Central Auto bill, which has put this line over

budget and funds will be needed to cover expenses for June through December of

2016; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the funds be allocated as follows:

INCREASE AMOUNT

AA.3989.1909.4690.4690 Auto Repair $13,400.00

and moves its adoption.
