Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and

Deputy Chairman Peter M. Loughran offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Department of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, The Ulster County Board of Cooperative Educational Services,

(BOCES) wishes to enter into a Lease Agreement with Ulster County for Classroom

Space at Development Court, Kingston, New York; and

 

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of the Ulster County Department of Public

Works has requested that the Chairman be authorized to execute a lease agreement,

for the use of 652 square feet of classroom space at Development Court, in Kingston,

New York to be used for educational purposes; and

WHEREAS, said lease will be for a term of seventeen (17) months

commencing February 1, 2016 and ending June 30, 2017, at an annual cost of

$6.30/square foot and an annual rental fee of $4,107.60, and a total term rental fee of

$5,819.10; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby

authorized to enter into a lease agreement with the Ulster County Board of

Cooperative Educational Services, (BOCES), for 652 square feet of classroom space

located at Development Court, Kingston, New York, from February 1, 2016 through

June 30, 2017, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature or

as modified and approved by the County Attorney,

and moves its adoption.
