Legislators Hector S. Rodriguez, Tracey A. Bartels, Thomas J. Briggs, and Manna Jo

Greene offer the following:

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 394 dated November 18, 2014, the

Ulster County Legislature created the Ulster County Solid Waste Management

Improvement Commission for the purpose of comprehensively reviewing the

technologies, grant funding and host benefits available to newly established solid

waste disposal facilities; and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Solid Waste Management Improvement

Commission is to be comprised of twelve (12) members, including a second at large

Representative of the General Public; and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Legislature adopted Resolutions No. 44 and

No. 108 of 2015, which appointed eleven (11) designated members of the Ulster

County Solid Waste Improvement Commission; and

WHEREAS, a vacancy exists with the final at large Representative of the

General Public awaiting nomination and appointment; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature confirms the appointment of

the following individuals as members of the Ulster County Solid Waste Management

Improvement Commission,

(1) Lisa Mitten, Hurley, Member at-large

and move its adoption.
