Chairman John R. Parete offers the following:
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 159 dated June 17, 2014, set the date for the
Public Hearing on Proposed Local Law No. 3 of 2014, (A Local Law Amending
Local Law No. 10 of 2008 (A Local Law Adopting An Administrative Code for the
County of Ulster, State of New York) To Require Certain Resolutions Approving
The Execution Of Contracts And Contract Amendments In Excess Of $50,000.00
Entered Into By The County For Public Services Be Supplemented With
Standardized Information Upon Filing), to be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 At 7:05
PM, in the Legislative Chambers, Ulster County Office Building, 244 Fair Street,
Kingston, New York; and
WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 At 7:05
PM, in the Legislative Chambers, Ulster County Office Building, 244 Fair Street,
Kingston, New York; and
WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was advertised in the official newspapers of
the County of Ulster, and posted on the signboard maintained by the Clerk of the
Legislature situated in the Ulster County Office Building; and
WHEREAS, all parties in attendance were permitted an opportunity to speak
on behalf of or in opposition to said Proposed Local Law; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that herein, Proposed Local Law No. 3 of 2014 is hereby
adopted by the Ulster County Legislature, and, pending the approval of the County
Executive, will be assigned a local law number consecutive to the last local law adopted
and approved in 2014,
and moves its adoption.
