Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Gina Hansut, and Deputy Chair Chris Hewitt offer the following:

WHEREAS, this Resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Department Of Emergency Communications/ Emergency Management; and

WHEREAS, the County of Ulster has an established Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) managed through the Ulster County Department of Emergency Services and Department of Health; and

WHEREAS, the purpose of this program is to enhance emergency preparedness, healthcare response, and community resilience in times of crisis; and

WHEREAS, grant funding has been made available to support the efforts of the Ulster County MRC in fulfilling its mission to safeguard public health and safety; and

WHEREAS, there are grant funds totaling the amount of $10,000.00 from the National Association of County & City Health Officials through the 2025 Medical Reserve Corps Operational Readiness Award (ORA); now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the 2025 Budget is hereby amended as follows;
