Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Gina Hansut, and Deputy Chair Chris Hewitt offer the following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Emergency Communications / Emergency Management; and
WHEREAS, the Ulster County Legislature adopted Resolution No. 425 of August 16, 2022 for participation in the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program for the term May 25, 2022 to November 25, 2023; and
WHEREAS, Ulster County does have a contract (2022-00000447) with the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services, Office of Emergency Management; and
WHEREAS, in order to submit for reimbursement, Ulster County will need to extend the contract through March 31, 2025; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to execute and amendment, and any amendments thereto, with New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services, Office of Emergency Management to extend contract 2022-00000447 through March 31, 2025,
and move its adoption.
