Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, John Gavaris, and Deputy Chair Kevin A. Roberts offer the following:

            WHEREAS, the Ulster County Legislature has met and considered the Tentative Budget and has conducted Public Hearings thereon, as required by Section 359 of the New York State’s County Law, and pursuant to Article IV, Financial Procedures, Section C-37 of the Ulster County Charter and Sections A3-4(N) and A4-7 of the Administrative Code; now, therefore be it

            RESOLVED, that in accordance with Section 356, 358 and 360 of New York State’s County Law, and pursuant to Article IV, Financial Procedures, Section C-38 of the Ulster County Charter and Section A4-8 of the Administrative Code,  the Tentative Budget, as on file with the Clerk of the Legislature, as changed, altered, and revised, with revenues and appropriations as assigned to specific General Ledger detail disclosed herein, including the Personnel Listing as disclosed hereinafter set forth, is hereby adopted and that the several amounts as set forth in the “ADOPTED” column of such budget be and hereby are appropriated effective January 1, 2025, and, be it further

RESOLVED, that all descriptive text and additional appendixes are considered informational and for transparency purposes only;

and move its adoption.
