Referred to: The Laws and Rules, Governmental Services Committee (Chairman
Richard Parete and Legislators Archer, Donaldson, Roberts and Ronk), and The
Ways and Means Committee (Chairman Gerentine and Legislators Bartels, Belfiglio,
Briggs, Maio and Maloney, Provenzano, and Rodriguez)
Legislators David B. Donaldson and Donald Gregorius, and Legislators Bartels and
Wishnick offer the following:
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 234 dated July 15, 2014, set the date for the
Public Hearing on Proposed Local Law No. 8 of 2014, A Local Law Amending
Local Law No. 5 of 1989 (A Local Law Requiring Regulations Regarding The Sale
Of Motor Vehicle Fuels) To Establish Certain Consumer Protection Practices In
Ulster County, to be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 At 7:10 PM, in the
Legislative Chambers, Ulster County Office Building, 244 Fair Street, Kingston,
New York; and
WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was held on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at
7:10 PM, in the Legislative Chambers, Ulster County Office Building, 244 Fair
Street, Kingston, New York; and
WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was advertised in the official newspapers of
the County of Ulster, and posted on the signboard maintained by the Clerk of the
Legislature situated in the Ulster County Office Building; and
WHEREAS, all parties in attendance were permitted an opportunity to speak
on behalf of or in opposition to said Proposed Local Law; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that herein, Proposed Local Law No. 8 of 2014 is hereby
adopted by the Ulster County Legislature, and, pending the approval of the County
Executive, will be assigned a local law number consecutive to the last local law adopted
and approved in 2014,
and move its adoption.
