Referred to: The Ways and Means Committee (Chairman Gerentine and Legislators
Bartels, Belfiglio, Briggs, Maio, Maloney, Provenzano and Rodriguez)
Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, Richard A. Gerentine, and Deputy
Chairman Tracey A. Bartels offer the following:
WHEREAS, the Ulster County Clerk has requested that the Chairman of the
Ulster County Legislature be authorized to enter into an agreement with Schoharie
County to provide micrographics services and for microfilm processing and
duplication; and
WHEREAS, the Ulster County Clerk’s Records Management Division has a
Micrographics Department which is capable of creating, processing, and duplicating
microfilm rolls; and
WHEREAS, the Schoharie County Clerk’s Office has a need for such
services; and
WHEREAS, the Ulster County Clerk’s Office is willing and able to perform
the work required by Schoharie County for the creation, processing, and duplication
of microfilm rolls; and
WHEREAS, Schoharie County will pay Ulster County $0.0351 per image to
create, process and deliver an original film roll with an additional $7.85 to create,
process and deliver each Diazo duplicate of said film roll for micrographics services;
and
WHEREAS, Ulster County will invoice Schoharie County quarterly, and the
maximum amount to be paid by Schoharie County to Ulster County for all services
under the agreement shall not exceed $4,500.00 per year; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby
authorized to execute an agreement, and any amendments thereto, with Schoharie
County, to provide micrographics services and for microfilm processing and
duplication services,
and move its adoption.
