Maloney, Provenzano, and Rodriguez)

Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and

Deputy Chairman Peter M. Loughran offer the following:

WHEREAS, this Resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Department of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, the project expenditures in the amount of $550,000.00 for the

Fleet Service Bay Expansion, were approved in the 2014 – 2019 Capital Program;

and

WHEREAS, the project will renovate existing space at the DPW Quarry

complex in order to provide additional mechanics’ bays for Central Garage

operation; and

WHEREAS, this renovation of an existing structure constitutes a Type II

action under section 2.2 of the County of Ulster’s State Environmental Quality

Review Act (SEQRA) Type II List that was adopted by Resolution No. 118 on April

20, 2010; and

 WHEREAS, as per section 3 of the County’s Type II List, this action does not

pose a significant potential environmental impact and may be progressed as a Type II

action in accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617 of SEQRA; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works requests that Capital Project

No. 403 be established and funded; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that Capital Project No. 403 be established for the expansion of

the fleet service bay; and, be it further

RESOLVED, that the 2014 Ulster County Capital Fund is hereby amended as

follows:
