Chairman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Thomas J. Briggs,

Deputy Chairman Kenneth Ronk, and Legislator Mary Beth Maio offer the

following:

WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Ulster County Fire Advisory Board due

to the resignation of Augustine Passante, representative from the Town of Lloyd; and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Fire Advisory Board, the Board of Fire

Commissioners of the Highland Fire District, and the Town of Lloyd Supervisor

have recommended appointing Fred J. DeMaio as the Town of Lloyd representative

to the Ulster County Fire Advisory Board; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the following individual is hereby appointed to the Ulster

County Fire Advisory Board completing a term to expire on December 31, 2015:

Fred J. DeMaio

Highland, NY 12528,

and move its adoption.
