Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and

Deputy Chairman Peter M. Loughran offer the following:

WHEREAS, the County Executive has submitted this resolution on behalf of

the Department of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has been notified by the New

York State Department of Transportation of an increase in CHIPS funding for Ulster

County Highway Capital Improvements in the amount of $2,387.21 for the State

fiscal year 2014-2015; and

WHEREAS, there exists a 2013 CHIPS budget balance of $261,715.40 to be

rolled over into the 2014 Budget; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to adjust the budget to reflect the rollover balance

and increase in State funding; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works requests the 2014 CHIPS

appropriations and revenues be increased by $264,103.00 ($2,387.21 increase plus

$261,715.40 rollover); now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the 2014 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as

follows:

DD.5112.5112.4100.4125 CHIPS Expenditures $264,103.00
