Referred to: The Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee (Chairwoman Hansut and Legislators Clinton, Hewitt, Levine, Maloney, McCollough and Walls), and The Ways and Means Committee (Chairman Gavaris and Legislators Collins, Hansut, Kovacs, Nolan, Roberts, and Uchitelle)
Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Gina Hansut, and Deputy Chair Chris Hewitt offer the following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the Ulster County Sheriff; and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff is requesting to purchase Cordata Care Coordination Solution software for the Oracle Division; and
WHEREAS, this software will provide community outreach and response to Opioid overdoses and at-risk populations; and
WHEREAS, this software allows easy referral of overdose victims or people at risk for opioid use disorder or substance use disorder and tracks the activity of response as teams work to connect these people to treatment; and
WHEREAS, this software also provides for the configuration of the response process and provides lists and queues of key activities to increase efficacy; and
WHEREAS, this purchase and maintenance will be reimbursed under grant award number 15PBJA-22-GG-04458-COAP (Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Abuse Program); now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the 2025 Ulster County Operating Budget is hereby amended as follows:
INCREASE AMOUNT
AA.3110.1810-2200.2220 Equipment Software $ 55,000.00 (App. #)
AA.3110.1810-3400.4389 Federal Aid $ 55,000.00 (Rev.#),
and moves its adoption.
