Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and Deputy Chair Manna Jo Greene offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on behalf of the Department of Public Works (Buildings & Grounds); and

 

WHEREAS, the County desires to move several large county departments to various underutilized space to maximize the use of county-owned properties; and

 

WHEREAS, the County desires to move the department of Information Services to the Ulster County Human Services Office Complex, formerly known as the Business Resource Center; and

 

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works is requesting funds in order to prepare the office space for said move; and

 

WHEREAS, the project expenditures in the amount of $1,500,000.00 for Relocation of Various Departments, were approved in the 2020 – 2025 Capital Program; and

 

            WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works requests that Capital Project No. 556 be established and funded in the amount of $165,000.00; now, therefore, be it

 

            RESOLVED, that Capital Project No. 556 – Relocation of Various Departments is hereby established as follows:

RESOLVED, that the 2020 Ulster County Capital Fund is hereby amended as follows:
