Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano,

and Deputy Chairman Peter M. Loughran offer the following:

WHEREAS, the County Executive has submitted this resolution on behalf of

the Department of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has been notified by the New

York State Department of Transportation of a decrease in CHIPS funding for Ulster

County Highway Capital Improvements in the amount of $3,759.00 for the State

fiscal year 2015-2016; and

WHEREAS, there exists a 2014 CHIPS budget balance of $379,117.00 to be

rolled over into the 2015 Ulster County Budget; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to adjust the 2015 Ulster County Budget to reflect

the net difference of the rollover balance and State decrease in funding; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works requests the 2015 CHIPS

appropriations and revenues be increased by $375,358.00 ($379,117.00 rollover

minus $3,759.00 decrease); now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the 2015 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as

follows:

 INCREASE AMOUNT

DD.5112.5112.4100.4125 CHIPS Expenditures $375,358.00
