Chairman of the Laws, Rules and Government Services Committee, Jason Kovacs, and Deputy Chair Aaron Levine offer the following:
WHEREAS, the Acting Ulster County Clerk has come to require the representation of a Civil Rights Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the specialized representation which is required is beyond the scope of the Ulster County Attorney’s Office; and
WHEREAS, the Ulster County Attorney’s Office has recommended that outside counsel be retained; and
WHEREAS, this representation is necessary to defend the Acting Ulster County Clerk during the course of normal business duties; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the 2025 Ulster County Operating Budget is hereby amended as follows:
