Legislators Aaron Levine, Megan Sperry, and Abe Uchitelle offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 143 dated June 17, 2025, set the date for the Public Hearing on Proposed Local Law No. 3 of 2025, (A Local Law To Ensure the Safety of Vulnerable Road Users in Ulster County), to be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 7:10 PM in the Legislative Chambers, Ulster County Office Building, 6th Floor, 244 Fair Street, Kingston, New York; and

 

WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 7:10 PM; and

 

WHEREAS, said Public Hearing was advertised in the official newspapers of the County of Ulster, and posted on the signboard maintained by the Clerk of the Legislature situated in the Ulster County Office Building; and

 

          WHEREAS, all parties in attendance were permitted an opportunity to speak on behalf of or in opposition to the Proposed Local Law; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that herein, Proposed Local Law No. 3 of 2025 is hereby adopted by the Ulster County Legislature, and, pending the approval of the County Executive, will be assigned a local law number consecutive to the last local law adopted and approved in 2025,

 

and move its adoption.
