Bartels delivered the annual Chair Address and highlighted opportunities for county leaders to achieve long-term solutions to the housing crisis and solid waste challenges. In addition, she presented a series of financial policy initiatives and proposed new reserve funds.

(Kingston, NY) – The Ulster County Legislature has moved forward on a Proposed Local Law No. 5, which will expand the existing Human Rights Law to include gender expression as a protected category from discrimination, with Resolution No. 310 passing the Laws & Rules Committee on Thursday, May 11.

(Kingston, NY) — This evening, in a Special Session of the Ulster County Legislature, lawmakers appointed Tricia Bowen as the District 20 legislative representative for the Town and Village of New Paltz. She will represent District 20 until December 31, 2023.
