Chairman of the Laws and Rules, Governmental Services Committee, Richard A.

Parete, and Deputy Chairman Kevin A. Roberts offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Division of Weights and Measures; and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Director of Weights and Measures has

requested that the Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature be authorized to

execute an agreement (NYS Contract# C011545) with the New York State

Department of Agriculture and Markets for funding for the Petroleum Products

Quality Testing Program; and

WHEREAS, the agreement covers a five year period, from April 1, 2014

through March 31, 2019; and

WHEREAS, this agreement provides $10,242.00 in annual funding to Ulster

County, for a five year period beginning in 2014; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby

authorized to sign an agreement, and any amendments thereto, with the New York

State Department of Agriculture and Markets for the Petroleum Products Quality

Testing Program (NYS Contract# C011545) for the period April 1, 2014 through

March 31, 2019, in the amount of $51,210.00 ($10,242 annually), in the form as filed

with the Clerk of the Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County

Attorney,

and move its adoption.
