Beginning his third term as an Ulster County Legislator, Michael has broad governmental experience serving four years on the Ulster Town Board and as Chairperson of The Ulster County Industrial Development Agency. No other Ulster County Legislative District offers more challenges than Town of Ulster #4. Within a five-mile radius beams the Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge; a regional Airport; 3 Hudson River access parks and the developing NYS Sojourner Truth Hudson River Park coexisting with a terminally vacant shopping mall and the developmental juggernaut of a repurposed IBM facility. The key is to make Ulster County decision makers aware of the unique opportunities within this radius, and work to develop legislative policies that support a synergy of these individual interests into a single economic initiative.
