Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and

Deputy Chairman Peter M. Loughran offer the following:

WHEREAS, this Resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Department of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has prepared the Highway

Equipment List for year 2014; and

WHEREAS, the approved 2014 – 2019 Capital Improvement Program

includes a project “Equipment Replacement – Roads and Bridges” in the amount of

$2,158,400.00 for 2014; and

WHEREAS, after review of equipment needs for the County Highways and

Bridges Division, the Commissioner of Public Works requests that a capital project

be established in the amount of $1,321,200.00 for the purchase of equipment; now,

therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that Capital Project No. 408 Equipment Replacement -

Highways and Bridges, is hereby established; and, be it further

RESOLVED, that the 2014 Capital Fund Budget is hereby amended as

follows:

 INCREASE AMOUNT

H4-0408-2928 Highways & Bridges Equipment $1,321,200.00
