Chairman of the Energy, Environment and Sustainability Committee, Chris Hewitt, and Deputy Chair Richard Walls offer the following:

 

          WHEREAS, the County of Ulster and the Ulster County Resource Recovery Agency (UCRRA) have entered into and have previously amended the Service Agreement; and

 

WHEREAS, the current Service Agreement expires on May 31, 2025; and

 

WHEREAS, discussions regarding a new solid waste service agreement between Ulster County and UCRRA have been concluded; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature hereby authorizes the Chair of the Legislature to sign a Service Agreement with the Ulster County Resource Recovery Agency, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature,

 

and moves its adoption.
