Chairman of the Housing and Transportation Committee, Jeff Collins, and Deputy Chair Thomas Corcoran offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Planning Department; and

 

WHEREAS, a Public Hearing is required to be held pursuant to Section 141l(d) of the Not-for-Profit Law of the State of New York to consider the advisability of adoption of a resolution authorizing the sale and/or transfer of lands owned by the County located at 21 Elizabeth Street in the City of Kingston, identified on Real Property Tax Map as SBL 56.124-1-12 that includes the former Elizabeth Manor building to the Ulster County Housing Development Corporation, a local development corporation; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature shall act in accordance with Section 141l(d) of the Not-for-Profit Law of the State of New York to cause a legal notice of said Public Hearing to be published; and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, that said public hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 7:10 PM in the Legislative Chambers, Ulster County Office Building, 6th Floor, 244 Fair Street, Kingston, New York, and/or via videoconference to the extent allowable pursuant to existing New York State legislation, or order and the Rules of the Ulster County Legislature,

 

and moves its adoption.
