Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Gina Hansut, and Deputy Chair Chris Hewitt offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the Ulster County Sheriff; and

WHEREAS, the approved 2024 – 2029 Capital Improvement Program includes a project “Sheriff – Jail Kitchen/Laundry Equipment” with an annual appropriation of $50,000.00 in 2024 and $100,000.00 in subsequent years, to replace costly kitchen and laundry equipment that is original with building; and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff has obtained bids for jail kitchen equipment replacements in the amount of $68,730.00; and

WHEREAS, the submitted request anticipates contingency for unanticipated costs of $6,400.00; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the Capital Project No 706 for the Ulster County Jail Equipment Replacement be established as follows;
