Chairman of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Social Services; and 

WHEREAS, the Department of Social Services has received notification from the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS), Division of Child Care Services (DCCS) of the availability of additional funds for the Day Care Registration and Inspection project; and 

WHEREAS, in order to reflect the increased funding, an amendment of the 2024 budget is necessary; and 

WHEREAS, no County contribution or matching funding is required; now, therefore, be it 

RESOLVED, that the 2024 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
