Chair of the Legislature, Peter Criswell, offers the following:

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 44 Ethics, of the Code of the County of Ulster, § 44-4, B. (1) states, “The Board of Ethics shall consist of seven members, appointed by the County Executive, one of whom shall be nominated by the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature, one of whom shall be nominated by the Majority Leader of the Ulster County Legislature, one of whom shall be nominated by the Minority Leader of the Ulster County Legislature, three of whom shall be nominated by the County Executive of Ulster County, and one of whom shall be nominated by the Board of Ethics once all other members have been seated…All appointments shall be confirmed by the Legislature...,” and

 

WHEREAS, a vacancy exists for an unexpired term in the seat for a member to be nominated by the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature; and

 

WHEREAS, the County Executive has reviewed the nomination and has appointed the following individual to the Board of Ethics:

           

Brigid Walsh

Saugerties, NY 12477

(Term: Present – 8/31/2027); now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature hereby confirms the appointment of the above-named individual to the Ulster County Board of Ethics,         

 

and moves its adoption.
