Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Gina Hansut, Deputy Chair Chris Hewitt offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Department of Probation; and

WHEREAS, additional funds are needed in various departmental accounts to properly transfer Federal grant obligations (FVPSA ARP-SA) for fiscal year 2022 and 2023 to allow processing and payment in calendar year 2023; and

WHEREAS, these funds were approved for fiscal year 2022, and the Probation Department requests they be rolled over to the current fiscal year; and

WHEREAS,theCountyExecutivehasrequestedanamendmenttothe2023 UlsterCountyBudgettoallowforpaymentof2022 and 2023contractualobligations; now, therefore, be it

          RESOLVED, that the 2023 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as follows:

and moves its adoption.
