Chairwoman of the Public Works, Capital Projects and Transportation Committee, Laura Petit, and Deputy Chair Dean Fabiano offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Code of the County of Ulster, Chapter 185 Electrical Standards, § 185-5 Electrical licensing board, the board was established to consist of nine (9) individuals who reside in Ulster County, appointed by the County Executive for staggered terms, subject to confirmation by the County Legislature; and

 

WHEREAS, further pursuant to § 185-5, one (1) member shall be an individual who is qualified as an electrical inspector in New York State; and

 

WHEREAS, the County Executive has appointed the following individual to fill said seat:

 

                            John M. Hamilton                   Term to Begin: Present

Denning, NY 12740                Term Expires: 12/31/2026;

 

now, therefore, be it  

 

RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature hereby confirms the appointment of the above-mentioned individual as a member of the Ulster County Electrical Licensing Board representing a qualified electrical inspector in New York State, for the term indicated above,

 

and move its adoption.
