Legislator Phil Erner offers the following:

 

WHEREAS, Ulster County must serve all municipalities equitably; and

 

WHEREAS, some municipalities lack any regular access to public transportation; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that Ulster County shall guarantee daily access to public transportation in every city, town, and village, as well as every United States Census Designated Place in the County; and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, that the Department of Public Transportation shall administer this effort coordinating with other Departments in order to ensure efficient delivery of this service,

 

and move its adoption.
