Chairman of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Social Services; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Social Services (“DSS”) has received notification from the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (“OTDA”) of its approval of the County’s plan to support activities associated with sheltering the homeless during inclement winter weather (Code Blue Plan); and

WHEREAS, the amount approved under the plan is greater than had been previously budgeted for 2023; and

WHEREAS, in order to reflect the additional amount of approved funding, an amendment of the 2023 budget is necessary; and

WHEREAS, no County contribution or matching funding is required; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the 2023 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
