Chair of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Eve Walter, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

WHEREAS,thisresolutionhasbeensubmittedat the request oftheCountyExecutiveon behalf of the Department of Mental Health; and

WHEREAS,theCommissioner of Mental HealthrequeststhattheChairofthe Ulster County Legislature be authorizedto execute the State Aid Funding Authorization andanyfutureamendmentsthereto, for the period beginning January1,2022and endingDecember 31,2022, in the amount of $955,640.00, withtheNewYorkStateOffice of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS); and

WHEREAS,thestate aidfundswillbeusedtosupport chemical dependency and problem gambling treatment, prevention and recovery services in Ulster County as defined in the State Aid Funding Authorization; now,therefore, be it

RESOLVED,thattheChairoftheUlsterCountyLegislatureis hereby authorizedtoexecutethe State Aid Funding Authorization with OASAS andanyfutureamendmentsthereto, for the period beginning January1,2022and endingDecember 31,2022, in the amount of $955,640.00, tosupport chemical dependency and problem gambling treatment, prevention and recovery services in Ulster County as defined in the State Aid Funding Authorization,intheformasfiledwiththeClerkofthe UlsterCountyLegislatureorasmodifiedwiththeapprovaloftheCountyAttorney,

and moves its adoption.
