Chair of the Health, Human Services and Housing Committee, Eve Walter, and Deputy Chair Craig V. Lopez offer the following:

 

WHEREAS,thisresolutionhasbeensubmittedat the request oftheCountyExecutiveon behalf of the Department of Health; and

 

WHEREAS,the Ulster County Department of Health has received notification from the New York State Department of Health of supplemental Public Health Emergency Preparedness funding, in the amount of $4,100,381.00 to establish COVID-19 screening testing programs to support and maintain in-person learning, for the period July 1, 2021 through July 31, 2022, as per notification dated May 20, 2021; and

 

WHEREAS, Public Health Emergency Preparedness funds are provided through contract with Health Research, Inc.; and

 

WHEREAS, in order to reflect this, an amendment of the 2022 budget is necessary; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the 2022 County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
