Chairwoman of the Public Works, Capital Projects and Transportation Committee, Laura Petit, and Deputy Chair Dean J. Fabiano offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Department of Public Works; and

 

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office has identified 3,115 square feet of rentable space is available through a lease agreement with Industry Village 1151, LLC Bank; and

 

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has requested to execute a lease agreement with Industry Village 1151, LLC, for a five (5) year term commencing August 1, 2022 through July 31, 2027, for a total lease cost of $259,907.28; and

 

WHEREAS, the lease shall contain a clause which will allow the County of Ulster the option to terminate the Lease to the extent of there being funds appropriated and available for the purposes of this Lease upon one hundred eighty (180) days’ written notice to Industry Village 1151, LLC; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to enter into a lease agreement with Industry Village 1151, LLC 3,115 square feet of space. as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature or as modified and approved by the County Attorney,

 

and moves its adoption.
