Chairman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Gina Hansut offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the Ulster County Sheriff; and

WHEREAS, this resolution is requesting authorization to reclassify position 3110-1451 to a full time Peer Recovery Advocate from a part time Grant Manager; and

WHEREAS, the COSSAP grant funds for the part time Grant Manager have not been expensed and require a full time position instead of a part time; and

WHEREAS, Ulster County has OD2 funds to help offset the change from part time to full time position; and

WHEREAS, the uptick in cases handled by the HRMT (High Risk Mitigation Team) of ORACLE justifies the need for a full time Peer Recovery Advocate; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the 2022 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
