Chairman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Abe Uchitelle, and Deputy Chair Gina Hansut offer the following: 

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Public Defender; and

 

WHEREAS, the Public Defender requests that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature be authorized to enter into an agreement with the New York State Office of Indigent Legal Services for the purpose of Ulster County’s participation in Distribution #12, Contract No: C120051, for the period 01/01/2022 through 12/31/2024; now therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement, and any amendments thereto, with the New York State Office of Indigent Legal Services for the purpose of Ulster County’s participation in Distribution #12, Contract No: C120051, for the period 01/01/2022 through 12/31/2024, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney,

 

and moves its adoption.
