Chairman of the Economic Development, Planning, Education, Employment, Arts and Agriculture Committee, Brian B. Cahill, and Deputy Chair Herbert Litts, III offer the following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of SUNY Ulster; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 516, dated December 4, 2019, approved the advancement of capital projects for the Ulster County Community College that were included in the approved 2022-2027 Ulster County Capital Improvement program; and
WHEREAS, the exterior envelope of the SUNY Ulster’s Children’s Center is at the end of its life cycle and in a need of a full renovation; and
WHEREAS, SUNY Ulster Board of Trustees approved Resolution No. 21-02-23, dated February 15, 2022 establishing Capital Project – Children’s Center Renovation in the amount of $40,000, to provide architecture and engineering services for the exterior envelope renovations at the Children’s Center; and
WHEREAS, the $40,000 cost to provide architecture and engineering services for the exterior envelope renovations at the Children’s Center in 2022, would be divided as follows: $20,000 State and $20,000 Ulster County; and
WHEREAS, the 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Program included funding of $500,000 for the Children’s Center renovations; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that Capital Project No. 624 – SUNY Ulster Children’s Center Renovations is hereby established as follows:

and, be it further
RESOLVED, that the 2022-2027 Ulster County Capital Fund Budget is hereby amended as follows:
