Chairman of the Legislature, David B. Donaldson, and Chairman of the Economic Development, Tourism, Housing, Planning, and Transit Committee, Brian Cahill, offers the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Ulster County Department of Finance; and

 

          WHEREAS, Section 1170 of New York Real Property Tax Law provides that any tax district may, when authorized by resolution of its governing body and in lieu of prosecuting a proceeding to foreclose a tax lien on any parcel of real property, accept a conveyance of the interest of any person having any right, title, interest, claim, lien or equity of redemption in or to such parcel; and

 

          WHEREAS, the County has liens against the various properties owned by AG Properties of Kingston LLC and Techcity 22 23 & 24 LLC, as set forth below; now, therefore be it

 

          RESOLVED, that the County accept deeds to the various properties listed below in satisfaction of the amounts of the County’s lien shown for each property:
