Chairman of the Legislative Programs, Education and Community Services Committee, James Delaune, and Deputy Chair Thomas Corcoran offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request the County Executive on behalf of the Youth Bureau; and

WHEREAS, the Director of the Youth Bureau has received notification from the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) of increased funding for $25,000.00 for the Safe Summer Youth Program; and

WHEREAS, the additional funding will be used for youth violence prevention; and

WHEREAS, in order to reflect the increased funding, an amendment of the 2021 budget is necessary; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the 2021 County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
