Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and Deputy Chair Manna Jo Greene offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Department of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, the asphalt surrounding the New Paltz substation has deteriorated to the point where it needs to be replaced; and

WHEREAS, the funds will be used to mill (remove) the existing parking lot and install a new asphalt surface; and

WHEREAS, the project was originally planned to be performed by in house labor, but due to manpower being occupied by other projects it has been contracted out; and

          WHEREAS, the project expenditures in the amount of $145,000.00 for the New Paltz Substation Parking Lot Replacement, were approved in the 2021 – 2026 Capital Program; and

          WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works requests that Capital Project

No. 593 be established and funded; now, therefore be it

          RESOLVED, that Capital Project No. 593 for the New Paltz Substation Parking Lot Replacement be established as follows:

and, be it further

RESOLVED, that the 2021 Ulster County Capital Fund budget is hereby amended as follows:
