Chairman of the Economic Development, Tourism, Housing, Planning, and Transit Committee, Brian B. Cahill, and Deputy Chair Herbert Litts, III offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Department of Information Services; and

 

            WHEREAS, the County’s network infrastructure has reached end of support; and

         

            WHEREAS, the approved 2021 – 2026 Capital Improvement Program includes a project “Technology Upgrade” in the amount of $785,668 to replace and upgrade the County’s network infrastructure with network equipment that is up-to-date in terms of functionality and manufacturer support; and

 

            WHEREAS, it is now necessary to establish and fund Capital Project No. 587 in the amount of $785,668; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that Capital Project No.587, Technology Upgrade is hereby established as follows:

                                                            CREATE

 

Capital Project No. 587                   Technology Upgrade                      $785,668.00                                                             

and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, that the 2021 Ulster County Capital Fund is hereby amended as follows:
