Vice-Chairwoman of the Legislature, Tracey A. Bartels, offers the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted at the request of the County Executive on behalf of the Department of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, Ulster County has an existing revocable License Agreement with the Ulster County Agricultural Society for use of the Ulster County Fair Grounds, which will expire on December 31, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Ulster County and the Ulster County Agricultural Society, Inc., have negotiated a new License Agreement for a five (5) year period, ending December 31, 2025; and

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Agricultural Society shall pay the County of Ulster the amount calculated pursuant to Paragraph 7 of the License Agreement; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works requests the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature be authorized to execute the License Agreement with the Ulster County Agricultural Society, Inc., granting it the use of the Ulster County Fairgrounds for 5 years ending on December 31, 2025; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature is hereby authorized to execute a License Agreement with the Ulster County Agricultural Society, Inc., granting it the use of the Ulster County Fairgrounds for 5 years ending on December 31, 2025, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature, or as modified by the County Attorney,

and move its adoption.
