Chairman of the Public Health and Social Services Committee, Craig V. Lopez, and Deputy Chair Peter J. Criswell offer the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on behalf of the County’s Department of Social Services (“DSS”); and

WHEREAS, the DSS has received notification from the Redlich Horwitz Foundation of the award of $13,680.00 in funding to support the activities of a foster care home finder; and

WHEREAS, the funds will be used exclusively to recruit, train, certify, and recertify foster/adoptive parents as part of the County’s Foster Care program; and

WHEREAS, in order to reflect the increased funding, an amendment of the 2020 Ulster County Budget is necessary; and

WHEREAS, no County contribution or matching funding is required; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the 2020 Ulster County Budget is hereby amended as follows:
