Chairwoman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Eve Walter, and Deputy Chair Heidi Haynes offer the following:
WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on behalf of the Public Defender’s Office; and
WHEREAS, the Public Defender has requested that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature, or his or her designee, be authorized to enter into an agreement with the New York State Office of Indigent Legal Services for the purpose of Ulster County’s participation in Distribution #4, Contract No: C000551, for the period of 01/01/2014 through 12/31/2016; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Chair of the Ulster County Legislature, or his or her designee, is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement, and any amendments thereto, with the New York State Office of Indigent Legal Services for the purpose of Ulster County’s participation in Distribution #4, Contract No: C000551, for the period of 01/01/2014 through 12/31/2016, in the form as filed with the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature or as modified with the approval of the County Attorney,
and move its adoption.
