Legislator Kenneth Ronk offers the following:

WHEREAS, this resolution has been submitted by the County Executive on

behalf of the Ulster County Attorney’s Office; and

 WHEREAS, a public hearing is required to be held pursuant to Section

1411(d) of the Not-For-Profit Law of the State of New York, to consider the

advisability of adopting a resolution authorizing the sale and/or transfer of three (3)

Easements across County owned property, being a portion of the former Ulster &

Delaware Railroad Bed property located in the City of Kingston to the Ulster County

Economic Development Alliance, Inc. (“UCEDA”), a local development corporation;

now, therefore, be it

 RESOLVED, that said public hearing will be held on Tuesday, February 6,

2018 at 6:00 PM in the Legislative Chambers, Ulster County Office Building, 244

Fair Street, Kingston, New York; and, be it further

 RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Ulster County Legislature shall cause legal

notice of said Public Hearing to be published according to law,

and move its adoption.
